Strategic Pricing Analytics Manager
As the Strategic Pricing Analytics Manager you will play a critical role in driving data‑driven pricing strategies and workflow automation across all Taylor & Francis divisions.
Core Responsibilities
* Support definition of key performance and competitor intelligence metrics.
* Utilise advanced coding skills (Python, SQL) and analytical tools (R, Databricks, Power BI) to automate workflows for competitor intelligence, pricing performance and financial analysis.
* Work with the Academic, Consumer & Open Access Senior Pricing Managers on a project‑by‑project basis to undertake strategic pricing analyses, value calculator builds and future‑state modelling.
* Leverage AI and machine learning to undertake predictive analytics as a basis for optimising pricing strategies, forecasting demand and identifying revenue opportunities.
* Scope and implement scalable pricing infrastructure to support segment‑specific and differentiated pricing strategies across the portfolio.
* Develop future‑facing pricing infrastructure that supports scalability, automation and adaptability.
* Ensure seamless integration of pricing tools with AI‑driven analytics platforms.
* Continuously evaluate and refine pricing systems to maintain a competitive edge.
* Partner with senior pricing managers to align strategies across divisions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders at all organisational levels.
* Collaborate with Editorial, Commercial and Marketing teams to align pricing strategies with product positioning and market trends.
* Communicate complex pricing concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Qualifications & Skills
* Advanced analytics expertise: fluent in programming (SQL, Python) and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Databricks).
* Proven experience using AI and machine learning to optimise pricing strategies and automate workflows.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
* Exceptional communication skills, able to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
* Experience navigating international markets and addressing global pricing challenges.
* Experience in a multi‑channel organisation within a pricing or analytics role (e.g., Pricing Analytics Manager, Customer Analytics Manager).
* Expertise in automating processes such as performance metrics and competitive intelligence.
* Demonstrated success in building scalable pricing infrastructure for segment‑specific and differentiated pricing.
* Track record of delivering global initiatives across multiple countries and regions.
* Knowledge of the Print Book and eBook value chain (direct‑to‑consumer, reseller, 3P channels) is highly desirable but not essential.

* You must have the right to live and work in the UK for this role.
Location & Working Model
The role requires attendance at the Milton Park office three days per week. A flexible working model allows you to work from home or another remote location on the remaining days.
