Overview

Duties and responsibilities for this role include manufacturing and assembling company products in line with customer specifications and quality standards. The role collaborates with Engineers to ensure all project and Engineered to Order production activities are completed accurately. It involves interpreting 2D drawings and 3D models (both paper and Catia 3D models) for mechanical assembly requirements. The position participates in project testing processes, including pressure testing and full functional tests. It requires identifying and resolving issues during the assembly and testing phases, following proper escalation and documentation procedures. The role uses standard tools and machines such as pedestal drills, band saws, grinders, and pipe threading machines. It also involves using specialist lifting equipment to ensure safe manufacture and assembly of packaged pump houses. Adherence to safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards, following work instructions and predefined rules, is required.


Responsibilities

Qualifications

* 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in production, preferably in a lean manufacturing environment
* Customer-focused with strong engagement skills to ensure target dates and quality standards are met
* Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work to deadlines
* Proficient in reading 2D drawings and 3D models
* Experience with lifting equipment and work tools
* Basic computer skills, including the ability to operate equipment controlled via computer touch screens
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
* Ideally qualified to Level 3 in Mechanical Fitting
