We are going through a period of significant growth and technological change, there has never been a better time to join! The Role We are seeking a Secretary to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Administration activities of the Digital, Data and Technology directorate. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support on a day-to-day basis to the Director of Digital, Data and Technology as well as providing a wider support function when required to the team. The role will ensure administrative functions and process are implemented, managed, and maintained to the agreed standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the largest police force in Wales. Key Responsibilities Managing and coordinating administrative duties for the Director of Digital, Data and Technology and on occasion the wider team. You will support and coordinate key projects within the department as directed by the Director of Digital, Data and Technology Co-ordinate diaries for the Director of Digital, Data and Technology and other Senior managers and maintain and organise confidential files and information. Arranging travel itineraries, accommodation, and transport Coordinating and managing meetings, taking notes, and following up on action points. Processing and monitoring correspondence You will administer quality review processes and prepare, collate and distribute reports and briefings Providing support to senior management as required Ensure administrative functions and process are implemented, managed, and maintained to the agreed standards. You will review and present data as required by the Director of Digital, Data and Technology Requirements Must be educated to at least NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and abilities. You will have advanced skills in Microsoft applications and be able to apply these within a working environment. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
