ROLE Reporting into the Managing Director, as Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role includes conducting training sessions, monitoring compliance with safety regulations, and fostering a culture of safety within the organisation. The role will not just be characterized by advice, you will be involved in hands-on risk assessments and training to build relationships at the site. indeed, the business has a real family feel: everyone knows everyone, open friendly and relaxed. CANDIDATE You will have a proven track record in Health & Safety. Experience in the Food industry is desirable but by no means essential. You will hold a NEBOSH certificate. You will be a self-starter and proactive. This company strongly adheres to sustainability so previous environmental experience would be beneficial but is not a must have. Working Monday- Thursday: Office Hours with Flexibility around start and finish times 34.5 Hours per week, unpaid lunch 4 Weeks Holiday 8 Days Standard Pension Sick Pay- 3 months full salary, next 3 months half salary Free Parking
