We are currently recruiting Temporary Support Workers for our clients in the Devizes area! Are you an empathetic motivated individual with a passion for supporting others to live their best lives? The Role This is a Temporary role, the shifts are ad hoc covering sickness and holiday for our clients. Working for Care Connection you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of supported living services in the Wiltshire area! At this particular service you will be supporting one gentleman with learning difficulties and autism in his own home. This service is set in the countryside outside Devizes, The service user here loves taking long walks along the nearby canal and enjoys a cup of tea or coffee in the cafés along the way. Driving is essential for this role as the service user has his own car for staff to use to enable him to access the community. Routine is particularly important here, you will follow support plans and pen pictures to enable you to provide the very best individualised, person-centred support and enable the gentleman to live his life as he chooses. You will understand that each service user has differing needs and you will provide support with all aspects of each individuals daily lives from, morning routines and shopping to assisting with banking, attending appointments, and attending clubs and social activities.
