Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client within the electrical manufacturing sector, who are looking to add a Semi-Skilled Wireperson / Assembler to their team. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for someone with previous experience in wiring and assembly work, looking for stability, growth, and a supportive working environment.
Job Title: Semi-Skilled Wireperson / Assembler
Location:BS21 - Clevedon
Hours: 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Salary: £25,202 – £26,026 per annum
Hourly Rate: £12.60 – £13.00 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble and wire electrical sub-assemblies for control panels, enclosures, and associated components.
* Interpret and follow wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and schematics.
* Carry out cable preparation, stripping, crimping, and terminations.
* Assist with basic mechanical assembly tasks.
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
* Conduct basic quality checks on completed work.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in electrical or mechanical assembly isdesireable
* Ability to read and understand basic wiring diagrams and technical documents.
* Proficient with hand tools
* Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
* Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
