Job Overview
We are a small but busy bodyshop carrying out a wide range of repairs as well as repair estimates for cars, vans and lorries for insurance and private customers.
The ideal person to join us would need to be able to work alone or as part of a team.
Previous bodyshop experience is essential.
Job role will include but is not limited to:
* Performing repairs to an extremely high standard in panel repair/ replacement.
* Preparing vehicles for painting and repairs.
* Painting vehicles.
* Preparing estimates.
* Manage and coordinate all activities within the bodyshop, ensuring timely completion of repairs.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of tools and equipment.
* Maintain detailed records of repairs, labour hours, and parts used for each job.
Requirements
* Proven experience in automotive body repair or management within a busy workshop environment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose common vehicle repair issues.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling parts or equipment.
* Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving targets.
* Good communication skills for liaising with clients, staff, and external partners.
* Relevant qualifications in automotive repair or management are desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to lead a dynamic team while maintaining the highest standards of quality in vehicle repairs.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 - 5:30.
