We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Community Paediatric Nurse to join a leading provider of complex care for children. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to children with complex needs and is eager to contribute to a forward-thinking team.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Conducting assessments for new care packages.
* Writing detailed care plans and risk assessments.
* Providing support to the care/support team on assignment.
* Teaching and training new staff members.
* Completing regular competency-based observations.
* Carrying out frequent care plan reviews.
* Liaising with commissioners and funders.
* Attending multi-disciplinary team meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Right to work in the UK.
* Valid NMC Pin.
* UK Driving Licence.
* Experience in Paediatrics is essential.
* A teaching qualification is desirable, but support will be provided to obtain one if not already held.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a clinical lead to assess care needs and train the team.
* Strong communication skills for effective liaison and multi-disciplinary team collaboration.
