<div><p>Salary Guide: <b>£50,000 - £55,000 Plus Car/Allowance & Excellent Package</b></p><p>Our client is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating predominantly in the water industry who have been awarded a programme of work to deliver non-infrastructure water and wastewater projects for Southern Water and they are recruiting for a SHEQ Advisor to help deliver these projects.</p><p>You will report to the Head of SHEQ and key responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Understanding the Companys approach to managing SHEQ risk and delivering best in class performance.</li><li>Maintaining a dynamic and driven approach to supporting SHEQ across the company.</li><li>Monitoring and reviewing the closure/completion of corrective actions to ensure that they deliver clear improvements and have been suitably and effectively implemented.</li><li>Organising audits and supporting the delivery and execution of SHEQ assurance audits.</li><li>Conducting accident/incident investigations and/or supporting investigations conducted by the Head of SHEQ.</li><li>Integrating within the wider project teams to understand day to day challenges.</li><li>Working with the client to deliver collaborative approaches to SHEQ.</li><li>Exposure to the project management lifecycle of project delivery.</li><li>Highlighting opportunity for sustainable solutions.</li><li>Trending and analysis of key performance data.</li><li>Maintenance of our externally certified management systems.</li></ul><h3>Skills, Qualifications & Experience:</h3><ul><li>Ability to collect, analyse and evaluate large volumes of data whilst maintaining data integrity.</li><li>Ability to identify trends in data and clearly articulate the issue or findings.</li><li>Proven experience of working as part of a SHEQ team.</li><li>Ability to interpret legislation and Approved codes of Practise.</li><li>Good organisational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to work both as a team member and under own initiative.</li><li>Good communicator whos comfortable engaging at all levels within the organisation.</li><li>Confidence to make decisions whilst recognising when appropriate to elevate issues or concerns.</li><li>Good Microsoft Office skills especially Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.</li></ul></div>
