Job Description:
Neo Property Solutions Limited is a recognised specialist in the provision of technically challenging passive fire protection solutions.
Our services include Fire Compartmentation Surveys, Fire Door Surveys, Fire Stopping, and Fire Compartmentation Works, executed as part of a rolling programme of annual inspection and/or rectification works across multi-occupancy housing, public buildings, healthcare facilities, educational establishments, student accommodations, and security-sensitive workplaces.
Position: Fire Consultants / Fire Risk Assessors (FRA)
The Fire Consultant will work on a subcontract basis, delivering high-quality fire risk assessment reports. They will act as a key contact during site visits, influencing customer perceptions positively, and will verbally communicate recommendations on-site, documented in formal reports.
Person Specification:
* Comprehensive understanding of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
* Knowledge of relevant British Standards related to fire and life safety systems
* Professional communication skills and confidence
* Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships
* Capability to produce high-quality work and detailed reports
* Effective organizational skills to ensure timely report delivery
* Experience conducting assessments for various building types (Commercial, Industrial, Domestic); two redacted FRA reports will be requested
* Proficiency with computers and electronic devices
Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate industry-leading fire safety knowledge to conduct compliant fire risk assessments
* Produce accurate and efficient documentation consistently
* Collaborate with administrative teams to optimize working practices
* Ensure best practice methods in fire risk assessments
* Maintain responsibility for service quality to clients and staff
* Stay updated with current fire legislation and apply it to assessments
* Proven experience in completing Fire Risk Assessments
* Hold accreditation at 'Member' level with the Institute of Fire Engineers or Institute of Fire Safety Managers, or be on the IFSM or IFE 'competent risk assessor' register
* Excellent literacy and written communication skills
* Ability to plan and organize workloads to meet deadlines
* Possession of a full UK driving license
* Additional recognized qualifications in fire safety management and risk assessments from reputable providers
