Purpose of Role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team on a prestigious defence contract based in Frimley. This role is a Maternity Cover for 12 months.
Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of hard FM services, ensuring all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) works and statutory inspections are carried out efficiently and to the highest standard
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and coordinate all PPM activities and statutory inspections across the site.
2. Liaise with and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and safety standards.
3. Maintain accurate records of works completed, inspections, and compliance documentation.
4. Ensure all maintenance activities are delivered in accordance with contractual, technical, and health & safety requirements.
5. Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure the highest operational standards are met.
6. Work collaboratively with the client and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth service delivery.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
7. Proven experience in facilities management, ideally within a defence, public sector, or similarly secure environment.
8. Strong understanding of PPM scheduling and compliance requirements.
9. Excellent communication and contractor management skills.
10. Competent in the use of IT systems, including CAFM software, Microsoft Office, and digital reporting tools.
11. Full UK driving licence is essential due to site mobility requirements.
12. Strong organisational and problem-solving skill
