This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a room where high-quality care, curiosity-led learning, and children’s wellbeing come first. You will guide a small team, shape daily practice, and create an inspiring environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. This Room Leader role will suit a confident, hands-on leader who enjoys coaching others, building strong relationships with families, and delivering outstanding outcomes through thoughtful planning and consistent standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS and children’s individual interests Support, coach, and mentor practitioners to strengthen confidence, consistency, and quality of practice Maintain excellent safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety standards at all times Ensure children’s learning journeys, observations, and assessments are accurate, meaningful, and up to date Maintain outstanding standards of care routines, hygiene practices, and safe supervision Requirements Up to date and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential Right to work within the UK (no sponsorship required) Previous experience as a Senior Practitioner or 2 years experience as a Nursery Practitioner Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding procedures, and quality standards Confident leadership style with the ability to motivate and support a small team Commitment to inclusive practice and supporting children with varying needs and abilities Also suitable for: Room Leader, Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Room Leader, Early Years Educator Lead Company Culture As a Room Leader, you will be joining a friendly and welcoming Nursery setting backed by the strength of a well established larger Nursery organisation.
