📍 Location: Christchurch (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home)
đź•’ Hours: | Flexible start between 7:30am-5:30pm | Early Friday finish at 1pm
đź’° Salary: ÂŁ60-65,000 + benefits + free parking


Lead Finance in a High-Precision, High-Impact Environment

Join a cutting-edge manufacturing business where precision meets performance. We're looking for a Finance Operations Manager to take ownership of core finance processes and lead a skilled team in delivering excellence across Purchase & Sales Ledger, reporting, and compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance leader with manufacturing experience to step into a role that blends strategic oversight with hands-on operational impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop a team of 5 across Purchase & Sales Ledger operations
2. Own month-end close, journals, management accounts & reconciliations
3. Manage fixed assets, intercompany transactions & statutory accounts
4. Drive cash flow forecasting, FX management & weekly payment runs
5. Ensure VAT compliance (including postponed VAT) & trade regulations
6. Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and boost accuracy
7. Support audits, maintain balance sheet integrity & improve working capital
8. Champion continuous improvement across finance operations

13. Timely VAT submissions & full regulatory compliance


What You Bring

14. CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
15. Strong IFRS knowledge & experience in manufacturing or stock-driven environments
16. Advanced Excel & ERP system expertise
17. Confident leadership with a sharp eye for detail and deadlines
18. Knowledge of complex VAT scenarios
