About The Opportunity
Within our Energy Advisory team we advise clients on decarbonisation/net‑zero challenges, focusing on delivery of global energy transition solutions. We are seeking a technical specialist to support growth and add value to client requirements. You will assist the team on the development and execution of energy efficiency projects, provide input to utility analytics, lead engineers and project developers in identifying and implementing energy‑saving projects that aid in decarbonisation plans, via audits, assessments, measurement and verification, and training.
Key responsibilities
* Conduct audits, including ISO50001 or ESOS compliant for a range of clients
* Identify energy saving opportunities and provide cost‑effective recommendations
* Stay up to date with legislation, regulations and best practices related to ESOS and energy management (ISO50001)
* Provide expert advice on energy efficiency, carbon reduction and sustainability initiatives
* Deliver presentations and reports to senior stakeholders and clients
Here’s what you’ll need
* An engineering degree, likely with a focus on energy (chemical, mechanical, energy engineering)
* Engineering experience that includes ESOS or ISO50001 implementation
* Knowledge of current and anticipated environmental, carbon and energy policy and legislation and how this applies to organisations and projects
Experience & Skills
Previous site auditing experience on industrial or public sector sites, strong knowledge of energy management practices, including ISO50001 and ESOS.
