As a Warehouse Team Leader, this role oversees the day‑to‑day operations, ensuring Costa Coffee products are dispatched accurately, safely and on time. The position involves leading and supporting workspace operatives, driving target measures, maintaining standards and working closely with management to drive performance. Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor and motivate a team of warehouse operators to meet performance goals.
* Allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
* Coordinate deliveries with relevant stakeholders to achieve KPI’s.
* Safely operate forklift equipment to load and unload goods in line with health and safety standards.
* Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean and efficient working environment.
Qualifications
* Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
* Valid forklift licence (counterbalance and/or aisle master).
* Good understanding of warehousing and distribution operations.
* Knowledge of industrial packing techniques and import/export procedures.
* Strong awareness of health and safety practices within a warehouse environment.
* Customer focussed with the ability to deliver a high standard of service.
