About this job
The Local Government, Police and Justice Section deals with UNISON’s work in councils, other local government employers, police forces and probation services. The Administrator will provide a range of administrative support across all areas of the section.
Skills/experience required:
1. team player with experience of showing initiative and multi-tasking in a pressurised environment
2. good communication and time management skills
3. proven administrative and secretarial skills
4. experience and expertise in using office equipment/systems and a full range of IT and digital packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
5. social media skills
6. administration of committees/meetings and seminars
