About the Role
We're looking for a committed Security Officer to join our team in Gloucester. In this role, you'll provide essential security services, including site protection, patrolling, CCTV monitoring, and visitor management.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered, you must:
1. Hold a valid SIA Licence
2. Be a British citizen
3. Have at least 5 years of checkable work history
Key Responsibilities
4. Control access for authorised personnel
5. Monitor site activity via Access Control Systems and CCTV
6. Conduct patrols and daily alarm checks
7. Respond to alarms and manage visitor reception
8. Provide out-of-hours MDL Service Desk support
9. Perform random searches and deter unauthorised entry
10. Handle suspect packages per agreed procedures
11. Deliver security services across two sites
12. Support colleagues and cover absences
13. Undertake ad-hoc tasks as directed
Person Specification
14. Previous security experience helpful but not essential
15. SIA Licence holder and CCTV trained
16. Strong communication skills and IT literate
17. Customer-focused with a commitment to protecting people and assets
18. Ability to meet KPIs and SLAs
19. Willingness to undertake additional training for continuous development
