Our Senior Finance Manager is looking for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their high performing team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the accounting, analysis, and administration of the DPDgroup UK Overheads functions and the preparation of management accounts. Other key duties include:
* Assist with the preparation of management information including weekly and monthly accounts
* Liaise with relevant departments to ensure costs are recorded accurately and variances to plan are investigated
* Complete all balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with company policy and manage the collation of all balance sheets monthly
* Provide financial support to senior budget holders for decision-making, including analysis for planning and projects
* Own the preparation and processing of journals for weekly reporting of Overheads for inclusion in weekly results consolidation
* Own the preparation, presentation, and commentary for weekly Overheads costs reporting to directors and senior managers
* Assist with the preparation and review of presentational information as required
* Assist, prepare, and review all management accounts outputs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Assist with weekly reporting of Saturn units allocations, losses, and damages
* Perform any other tasks reasonably requested
Qualifications
About You
You should have a university degree with a minimum 2:1 classification in any discipline and be willing to study either ACCA or CIMA (ACA not offered).

* Excellent problem-solving skills with a drive to deliver results
* Ability to build rapport within the Finance team and other departments, with excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
