About the Role
We’re working on behalf of a leading Further Education provider to recruit an experienced and passionate Lecturer in Electrical Installations to join their Construction department.
In this rewarding and varied role, you’ll deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and learning across a range of Electrical Installation courses. You’ll be responsible for supporting learners of all abilities to develop the technical knowledge and practical skills they need to succeed in the electrical industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for either a qualified lecturer or a skilled industry professional looking to step into teaching, with full training and development support available.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver outstanding teaching and learning across Electrical Installation qualifications
* Prepare and maintain schemes of work, teaching resources, assessments, and course materials
* Support, assess, and track learners’ progress to ensure positive outcomes
* Embed Maths and English into vocational delivery where appropriate
* Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain strong employer and industry links to ensure course relevance
* Promote safeguarding, equality, and health & safety in all aspects of teaching and learning

About You
You’ll be an enthusiastic and approachable professional with a strong background in Electrical Installations and a passion for developing the next generation of electricians. You’ll have great communication skills, a flexible approach, and a genuine commitment to helping learners succeed.

Essential Requirements
* Electrical Installation qualifications to at least Advanced Craft / NVQ Level 3
* Substantial, recent, and relevant industry experience
* Up-to-date Health & Safety knowledge for the electrical sector
* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
* A commitment to professional development and high teaching standards

* Certificate in Education, PGCE, or DTLLS (or willingness to gain this with support)
* Assessor (A1) or Internal Verifier (V1) qualification
* Experience delivering or assessing training in an education or workplace setting
