Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a soon-to-be-15-year-old boy with Autism within his own home and the local community. As a Personal Assistant, your duties will include supporting with all aspects of daily life, including personal care, and assisting with access to suitable activities.
Responsibilities
* Provide support with all aspects of daily life, including personal care.
* Assist the child in accessing suitable activities within the local community.
* Support the child in everyday tasks and routines.
Requirements
* Caring, proactive, and motivated.
* Previous experience with individuals with Autism or related care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Positive attitude and good work ethic.
* Valid clean driving licence and ability to drive.
Remuneration and Working Hours
This is a part‑time position for an average of 4 hours per week (flexibly worked, e.g., 8 hours every two weeks). The hourly rate is £12.71 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and participation in a workplace pension scheme.
The post is subject to a clear enhanced DBS check, paid for by the employer.
