About the Role
We are working with a GP Surgery to recruit a General Practitioner (GP) for a locum opportunity starting in September, offering 3–4 days per week with a flexible working pattern.
This role is ideal for a GP seeking a better work-life balance, while still working within a well-structured and supportive practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality primary care consultations (face-to-face and/or remote)
* Manage a routine and acute patient caseload
* Provide safe, effective, and patient-centred clinical care
* Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NHS standards
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Practice Overview
* Patient list size of approximately 6,500
* 15-minute standard appointments
* Heidi transcription software to reduce admin time
* Automated lab reporting systems
* Docman workflow system with typically 7–10 letters per day
* On-site parking available
What We’re Looking For
* GMC registered GP with Licence to Practise
* Experience in UK primary care settings
* Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to practice needs
* Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
