About Yaniv Edery Gallery Yaniv Edery Gallery is a new premium art and events venue in Edinburgh, designed to blend contemporary art, luxury hospitality, and cultural experiences. Alongside the gallery, the venue includes a high-end events space, networking bar, and four bedrooms.
The Role We are seeking an experienced General Manager Hospitality, Events & Sales to lead the operational, commercial, and guest experience functions of the venue.
Operating at General Manager level, this role is jointly responsible for the commercial success of the business and works in equal partnership with the General Manager - Gallery & Art Sales.
The role focuses on venue operations, hospitality standards, and event sales, ensuring the gallery functions as a premium destination for private, corporate, and cultural events.
Key Responsibilities Oversee theday-to-day operationsof the events space, bar, and bedrooms
Drive and growevent sales, including weddings, corporate functions, private hire, and brand activations
Ensure exceptional guest experience across all hospitality touchpoints
Manage staffing, rotas, suppliers, and operational budgets
Maintain compliance with allhealth, safety, licensing, and hospitality regulations
Develop partnerships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses
Work closely with the Head of Marketing on event promotion and venue visibility
Collaborate with the Gallery GM to align events with exhibitions and launches
Monitor performance, profitability, and operational efficiency
Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in hospitality management, venue operations, or event sales
Strong leadership, organisational, and commercial skills
Experience operating premium or luxury venues preferred
Confident managing multiple revenue streams
High standards of service and attention to detail
Flexible availability to support events and peak trading periods
