We are recruiting a 2nd Line Support Engineer with some 3rd line experience to join a fast-paced organisation within the events and entertainment industry. This is a hands‑on role supporting a busy IT environment, with responsibility for resolving escalated issues and supporting core infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 2nd line support with some involvement in 3rd line escalations
* Support Microsoft 365 and Intune environments
* Assist with administration of VMware infrastructure
* Troubleshoot Cisco networking issues (switches, routers, firewalls)
* Support backup solutions such as Veeam
* Assist with patching, updates, and basic security best practices
* Work on minor infrastructure improvements and project tasks
* Manage tickets effectively with Freshdesk in line with SLAs
* Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in a 2nd line support role
* Exposure to 3rd line support or infrastructure‑level tasks
* Strong Microsoft 365 and Intune knowledge
* Basic to intermediate VMware experience
* Understanding of Cisco networking fundamentals
* Experience with backup solutions (Veeam desirable)
* Awareness of cybersecurity best practices
* Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
* Experience in a fast‑paced or events‑based environment
