Role: Science Teacher Pay Rate: £180 - £210 per day Location: LS25 We are working with a well-regarded and inclusive Secondary school in the LS25 area that is committed to helping every learner achieve their full potential. The school promotes a positive and purposeful learning environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity and resilience across all areas of the curriculum. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join the school from September on a full-time long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and engage students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 within a supportive and forward-thinking department. The successful candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills and a proactive approach to supporting student progress and engagement. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers. Key responsibilities include: • Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 • Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve positive outcomes • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment • Monitoring and assessing student progress in line with school expectations • Working collaboratively with teaching staff and wider pastoral teams • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management This is a long-term role with the potential to become ongoing for the right person.
