SUPPORT WORKER

LOCATION: Kemptown Brighton (office base)

JOB TYPE:

Permanent Full-time, Part time will be considered for the right candidate. Waking night will also be considered for the right candidate (please state on application if you are applying for a waking night role).

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week full time. Flexible working on a 7 day rota to meet the needs of the Service Users. This can include working evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep in shifts.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Senior Worker

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Registered Manager

SALARY: Brighton Living Wage Employer. Full time salary at £26'870.00 per year based on a base salary of £24, £12.60 p/h) and one paid sleep in per week.

QUALIFICATION: Experience and knowledge of working with or supporting people with complex needs (mental health, autism, learning disabilities) required. Diploma Level 2/3 preferred however relevant degree/qualifications accepted. Candidates with no formal qualifications may be considered if they have a passion and interest in supporting people with complex needs. All full time employees will be eligible for enrolment on a fully funded Level 3 apprenticeship course in Health and Social Care.

Have you worked in mental health services? Do you have experience working with people on the autistic spectrum, people with personality disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, or other complex needs such as Pathological Demand Avoidance?

The role involves supporting individuals with all aspects of their daily lives to help them achieve personal goals and independence within the local community.
