Our Sunbury based client is seeking an Experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of major, technically complex construction projects within their division. Salary up to £48,000.
This role sits within Operations and focuses on project execution, programme control, cost management, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination across internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the full project life cycle following order acceptance, from technical clearance through to installation completion and handover.
Act as the primary operational point of contact for assigned projects.
Coordinate internal teams including technical clearance, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and installation
Monitor project progress against programme, product lead times, and contractual requirements.
Proactively manage project programmes, identifying risks, constraints, and dependencies.
Act as the first point of escalation for site-based operational and quality issues.
Attend site as required to support installations, resolve issues, and maintain delivery momentum.
Ensure installations are delivered in line with quality standards and customer expectations.
Work alongside Regional Operations Manager to ensure site is ready for installation.
Identify and address margin erosion arising from defects, rework, or programme delays
Monitor and control project-level costs, including:
Field Operations Costs (FOPs)
Late and abortive costs
Subcontractor costs and invoicing
Project stock and Work in Progress (WIP)KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential
Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction, building services, or engineered systems sector.
Experience managing multi-stakeholder, technically complex projects.
Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience.
Ability to manage programmes, risk, and delivery under pressure.
Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP experience advantageous).
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Competent user of Microsoft Office
