Commercial Administrator

We are seeking an Administrator to join our team based in York to support the operations management team.

Location: York

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08.30am-16.30pm)

Salary: Up to £27,000

Responsibilities – But Not Limited To


* Collect and collate data to support commercial reporting
* Maintain accurate records and databases
* Raise and manage Purchase Orders
* Assist with cost reporting and forecasting
* Support procurement and payment of subcontractors
* Aid in preparation of Applications for Payment
* Liaise with clients to resolve account and invoicing queries
* Address Work In Progress (WIP) and debt queries

Experience And Qualifications Required For The Role

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Experience in invoicing and raising Purchase Orders
* Familiarity with month-end reporting processes
* Strong time management and ability to prioritise workload
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Commercial department experience is desirable
* Driving licence preferred (due to rural location)
