Overview
Labour and Employee Relations Advisor role at Danaher Life Sciences (Cytiva). This position is to build relationships, ensure compliance with employment law and company policy, and provide guidance and support to People Leaders across Cytiva sites on first-line ER matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence management, flexible working and probation.
What You Will Do
* Provide expert guidance and advice to managers on a wide range of ER matters.
* Ensure compliance with employment law and legislation, company policy and the ACAS Code of Practice.
* Handle a varied caseload relating to ER matters, including disciplinary investigations, disciplinary hearings, grievance hearings, performance management, flexible working, absence management and probation.
* Provide training and coaching to support managers on ER policy and process.
* Support with administering and preparing case management documentation that includes drafting outcome letters, investigation reports and performance improvement plans.
Who You Are
* You will have experience in dealing with ER related matters and have provided advice and guidance to managers on ER casework, with potential prior roles as HR Advisor or HR Generalist focused on ER, seeking to specialise in ER.
* You will have a good understanding of employment law and best practice in the United Kingdom, with a commitment to staying informed on the latest legal developments.
* You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and progress a high volume of casework to successful resolution.
* You must have a valid driving licence with an acceptable driving record. The role requires travel to all Cytiva sites within the United Kingdom (up to 50%), as and when needed.
