Job Title: Bicycle Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced Bicycle Mechanic to join our busy shop environment. The role involves working on various types of cycles and performing general duties across the shop.
Responsibilities include:
1. Booking in bicycles and performing service/repair tasks, liaising with customers before, during, and after servicing.
2. Building and inspecting new bikes for sale, display, and test rides.
3. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.
4. Assisting with shop duties such as sales and stock handling as needed.
Requirements:
Skills and Experience:
* At least two years’ experience as a bicycle mechanic preferred, with Cytec Level 2 or higher; training can be provided for the right candidate.
* Good command of spoken and written English.
* Basic IT skills are advantageous.
* Willingness to identify and undertake work across the shop as part of a team.
