Job Purpose

This role specifically focuses on programming, facilitating, and supporting complex safeguarding multi‑agency and family‑oriented meetings within the areas of child protection and high‑risk domestic violence. The responsibilities include preparing information, producing written reports and verbal presentations of summary information at meetings, and producing accurate and timely written records, including action and safety plans that are monitored for implementation, progress and completion through case management systems.


About The Role

The post holder will work in a range of meeting venues across the Leeds area to provide support in council buildings, school sites and virtually. Engagement with professionals is fundamental to curating the agenda, supporting them through the meeting process, and ensuring required actions are implemented and completed. The role requires a high level of emotional resilience and skills in governing confidential information.


About You

* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal with queries from a range of people.
* Knowledge of the applications, systems and IT programmes used by the service and the ability to accurately record, monitor and retrieve information.
* Ability to administer and record sensitive, difficult and confidential information while remaining emotionally resilient.
* Good understanding of programming and facilitating meetings, supporting stakeholders involved.
* Strong minute‑taking skills and ability to produce comprehensive and accurate meeting records in different formats, including the use of AI.

Essential Requirements

* Experience of communicating clearly and effectively with a wide range of people and building strong working relationships.
* Experience of working on your own and using initiative to meet timescales and deadlines.
* Experience of providing excellent customer service and dealing with queries from a range of people.
* Experience of working with applications, systems and IT programmes and accurately recording, monitoring and retrieving information.
* Able to administer and record sensitive, difficult and confidential information while remaining emotionally resilient.
* Experience of programming and facilitating meetings while supporting stakeholders involved.
* Experience of minute‑taking and producing comprehensive and accurate meeting records in different formats, including the use of AI.
* Able to present accurate and concise summarised information in a meeting environment and use data to produce reports.
* Experience of adhering to procedures and legislation relating to confidential information, including financial regulations, audit and operational requirements.
* Committed to continuous improvement.

Desirable Requirements

* Knowledge of Clare’s Law, child protection legislation and domestic violence support services.
* Able to undertake research, gather and present relevant and concise intelligence verbally and in writing.
