The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of the pub. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth operations, maintain high standards, and lead the team to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the General Manager in all aspects of pub operations
* Lead, motivate, and develop the front-of-house team
* Ensure outstanding customer service at all times
* Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance management
* Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and licensing regulations
* Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
* Step in to manage shifts and oversee service when required
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within hospitality
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* A hands-on, proactive approach with a positive attitude
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure
* Good understanding of stock management and financial controls
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
