This is an exciting opportunity for a meticulous Financial Accountant to contribute to a respected organisation within the Housing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while working on an initial temporary basis in Manchester.

Description
* Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant regulations and standards.
* Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting processes.
* Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Manage reconciliations, including bank accounts and balance sheets.
* Support the budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
* Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.
* Assist in the implementation of process improvements within the finance department.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
* A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience in Accounting & Finance.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
* Experience in the housing sector is advantageous but not essential.
* The ability to work effectively in a temporary position in Manchester
* 3-6 months initial contract

* Competitive day rate of GBP 400 to GBP 550 - Outside IR35
