Deputy Manager - Bristol Area

Are you an experienced team manager with a strong background in social care, complex needs, support and mental health?

(Please note, this is a Deputy role - but the employer used the title "Case Manager")

Based in: Bristol

Hours: 9am to 5pm OR 8am to 4pm

Days: Monday to Friday

Salary: £28,560

Job type: Permanent contract

Hours: 37.5 per week - full time

What will you do?

• Lead a team of Support Workers
• Provide support and guidance to the staff
• Heading up team meetings and supervisions
• Dealing directly with other services
• Managing safeguarding and risk
• Work between the office and out at the supported housing service
• Caseload and workload management
• Set a great example for the team to follow

What do you need?

• A social care qualification (Level 3 is desirable)
• Recognised management or team leadership qualification
• Experience leading in a team in a social care or support setting
• An excellent understanding of trauma informed practice
• A deep knowledge of complex support needs
• Experience of following safeguarding protocols
• Exposure to mental health and related support environments
• Able to de‑escalate difficult situations
