Street Works Co-ordinator -

With a strong reputation in civils and tailored reinstatement services, their mission is to be the preferred partner in their field by consistently delivering value without compromising on quality, safety, or environmental standards.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Street Works Co-ordinator, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management, ensuring all street works activities are compliant, efficiently planned, and effectively delivered.
You will be doing:
·Managing, coordinating, and submitting all street works permits and notices
·Ensuring full compliance with NRSWA, HAUC guidelines, and local authority requirements
·Planning, scheduling, and programming works to meet operational priorities
·Acting as the key point of contact for permit applications and updates
·Supporting operational teams with compliant and efficient work planning
·Overseeing SNMS, traffic management bookings, bus stop suspensions, and TRO processes
·Managing FPN and Section 74 risks through proactive jeopardy management
·Monitoring defect inspections and ensuring remedial actions are completed
Skills and Experience Required
To succeed as a Senior Street Works Co-ordinator, you will have:
·Proven experience in a street works or permit-focused role within utilities, highways, telecoms, or construction
·Strong working knowledge of NRSWA and permit schemes
·Experience using street works systems and managing permits end-to-end
·Knowledge of SNMS, traffic management, and TRO processes
·Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational skills
·Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders
·High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
·Proficiency in MS Excel and planning or scheduling tools
Desirable:
·NRSWA Supervisor or Coordinator certification
·NHSS 12/D or M7 Traffic Management qualification
·Experience coordinating traffic management requirements
Salary and Benefits
·Salary up to £47,000 (dependent on experience)
·28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
·Full-time, fixed-term contract (up to 6 months)
·Monday to Friday working pattern (8am - 5pm)
