Who You Are You are a qualified social worker with expertise and experience in children's social care. You are committed to implementing positive change in complex cases, using systemic social work methods, models, and tools. You are capable of leading and overseeing professional judgments within legal and policy frameworks to support and protect children and families. What the Job Involves The role requires managing and monitoring a high-need, complex caseload with autonomy. You will undertake comprehensive assessments, lead safeguarding inquiries, collaborate with partner agencies, and support children and families in putting care plans into action. Representing the Council in legal proceedings and contributing to the development of service policies and practices is also part of the role. You will work flexibly, participate in cross-disciplinary groups, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies.
