My client is at the beginning of a major 3‑year public-sector transformation programme and is looking for a Programme Manager to join at the start and help shape everything from day one. This is an incredible opportunity to be part of the foundation of a large‑scale, high‑impact digital transformation, working closely with experienced leaders and a blended delivery team. Joining at the very start means: ✅ You help shape the direction of multiple discovery workstreams ✅You influence processes, structure, governance and delivery rhythm ✅You build the initial relationships with senior stakeholders ✅You get to embed best practices from day one What You'll Be Doing: ➡️ Coordinating multi‑million‑pound programme activity ➡️Managing RAID, reporting, governance and day‑to‑day progress ➡️Supporting a blended client/consultancy team ➡️Working closely with a Programme Lead and engagement leadership ➡️Driving discovery → alpha → beta phases across key service areas What We're Looking For ✔️ Proven experience delivering public sector digital programmes ✔️ Strong understanding of the GDS lifecycle ✔️ Have experience managing £20-50m programme budgets ✔️Proactive, structured, organised delivery style ✔️SC‑clearable (must have lived in the UK 5 years) Location & Working Pattern Hybrid - Liverpool (3 days/week initially) Occasional travel to London Salary Around £80k-£85k If you're someone who loves stepping into meaningful transformation at the moment it begins, this is the perfect role.
