An integral member of the People Team, reporting to the Head of People, this hands-on role ensures that line managers and colleagues have access to the best people policies and frameworks, and are supported to foster a high-performing, engaged culture that enables the business to live its values and achieve its vision: to wow our customers by creating a happy, healthy, and stimulating environment for all our colleagues.
The Employee Relations Manager will provide support and advice on all people-related matters to colleagues and line managers to promote good employee relations across the organisation. Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring compliance with employment laws and promoting a positive work environment.
Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
Be the first point of contact for leaders managers, guiding them through complex HR cases.
Risk assess ER issues, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
Collaborate with the Head of People to upskill and train managers in handling ER matters.
Maintain and analyse ER case logs to identify trends and support proactive decision-making.
Stay updated with employment law changes, ensuring timely implementation.

An energetic, positive, creative and team orientated person who is able to build great relationships with all our colleagues. Youll be a self-starter and self-motivated and be proactive, detail-orientated and calm under pressure
CIPD Level 5 and proven HR experience providing employee relations and generalist HR advice.
Previous work in an ER Advisor/Manager role or similar.
Good knowledge of employment legislation
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at different levels, including senior managers, across the organisation.
Ability to manage a number of different priorities with resilience.
