Job Description
Reporting directly to the firm's senior leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer will serve as the trusted financial adviser overseeing all financial strategy, planning, operations, and performance. The primary objective of this role is to strengthen financial management, enhance reporting quality, and support the evolution of the firm's operational infrastructure during a dynamic period of change. The CFO will oversee a multi office finance team. Main duties and responsibilities will include the following:
1. Leading the finance function with responsibility for accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, billing, pricing, and financial planning
2. Driving modernization efforts across reporting, systems, and internal processes
3. Partnering closely with senior leadership on long term strategic planning and firm-wide initiatives
4. Providing clear financial insights to support data driven decision making
5. Ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of all financial statements and management reporting
6. Overseeing budgeting cycles and supporting practice group leaders with financial performance management
7. Managing the firm's financial controls environment and ensuring compliance with professional standards
8. Evaluating and improving billing and collections performance to enhance working capital
9. Leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team across multiple offices
10. Acting as an influential voice in firm leadership to elevate operational discipline.
Whilst this is a HYBRID position (3 days/ week in office), this role requires extensive nationwide travel, +/- 50% of the time - non-negotiable.
