Leasehold Services Officer
A distinguished organization is seeking a Leasehold Services Officer for a temporary, 6-month position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing information and advice on building management, leases, service charges, and facilitating the Right to Buy of properties.
Details:
* Duration: 6 months
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Your duties include:
* Identify and account for all charges payable on leasehold flats and shared ownership properties
* Maintain records and handle administration of billing and recovery of costs related to service, management, and charges on leasehold flats and shared ownership properties
* Provide advice and signposting for individuals in hardship or in arrears; initiate legal action for recovery of arrears, supporting the Leasehold Services Manager and Legal Services in County Court cases
* Maintain ongoing records of actual costs for communal and structural building maintenance charges, recharged to lessees in management billing
* Record and process Right to Buy applications
