Our client, a prestigious Top 100 London law firm is seeking a talented employment lawyer to join their standout team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave. This is a rare opportunity to work with a firm known for its exceptional client base, collaborative culture, and modern approach to law.
The Role:
* Start date: ASAP
* Duration: 12-month FTC
* Location: London (hybrid working – minimum 40% in-office)
* Covering a parental leave within a high-performing team
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Advising employers across sectors including financial services, education, charities, media, and sport
* Handling employment tribunal and High Court litigation (team moves, competition disputes)
* Supporting senior executives on complex employment matters
* Contributing to business development, thought leadership, and client training
The successful candidate is likely to have:
* 4+ years’ PQE with strong background in employment law gained at a highly regarded law firm
* Experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters
* Confident communicator with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
* Common law qualified lawyers welcome to apply – must have right to work in the UK (the firm is unable to offer sponsorship)
