Planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of Air, Road, and/or Sea freight movements.
Managing the end-to-end operational process, including booking transport, negotiating rates with carriers/suppliers, and selecting appropriate transport methods.
Liaising effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
Monitoring shipment progress, proactively identifying and resolving any operational issues or delays.
Ensuring all necessary shipping documentation Candidate Requirements
Proven experience (2+ years) in an Air, Road, or Sea Freight Operator or similar operational role within the logistics/freight forwarding industry.
In-depth knowledge of relevant freight forwarding regulations, geography, and transport operations (Air, Road, or Sea).
Strong commercial awareness and proven negotiation skills with carriers/suppliers.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Salary and Benefits
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
