Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (Permanent)
Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon–Fri | 24 days holiday + bank holidays | Benefits via Rewards Gateway

SRG are working with a leading waste management and recycling company with a long history of supporting the UK chemical industry.
Role Overview:
Hands-on role within the hazardous waste industry, involving testing, processing, and safe management of incoming chemical waste. You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations, supervise operatives, and support efficient site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, test, and process hazardous and non-hazardous waste
* Check compliance of documentation and environmental requirements
* Carry out on-site tests (pH, flash point, visual/odour checks, etc.)
* Supervise and prioritise Transfer Station Operatives
* Repack/bulk waste to optimise profitability
* Ensure safe and compliant waste storage and transfer
Requirements:
* Minimum HND in Chemistry (or equivalent with strong chemistry content)
* 2+ years’ recent hazardous waste experience
* Advantageous: COTC, WAMITAB, NEBOSH, IOSH
* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
* Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
