Job Description:
We are looking for a Sub-Contract Buyer to work across multiple exciting projects in the Cyber and Security Solutions Division. We are a relatively small agile team where innovation and adding value at all levels of Procurement is at the core of our work practices. The role is based in Bristol but attendance at site is on a custom-working basis.
What you will do as a Buyer:
This role will involve the full gamut of Procurement activities, including:
1. PO management
2. RFQ process
3. supplier negotiation
4. working in cross-functional teams
5. managing supplier performance
6. managing and mitigating risk across the supply base
7. reporting to key stakeholders
8. support to procurement strategy development
9. investigating areas of opportunity for cost reductions
10. drafting commercial documents such as NDAs, Teaming Agreements, SOWs, etc.
What we need from you:
11. experience in procurement of goods and/or services
12. proven ability to work independently
13. strong negotiation and influencing skills
14. good communicator who can build effective relationships
15. pro-active and results driven mentality
16. appropriate training to Degree level or equivalent, or relevant work experience
17. experience of working with SAP, or similar MRP system
18. capable of attaining SC clearance
19. an understanding of legal aspects and an ability to negotiate bespoke terms and conditions
20. CIPS preferred but not necessary
21. Knowledge of the Cyber sector or experience of working within a Systems Integrator
22. Awareness of Trade Compliance regulations
