House Maintenance Manager – Private UHNW Residence
Location: West London
Salary: £75,000–£85,000
House manager is required for a fully staffed, ultra-high-end private residence in West London. This is a senior, hands-on position within a highly professional household, supporting a private Family and ensuring the home operates to flawless five-star standards.
We are seeking polished and calm, confident presence and an impeccable eye for detail. You will oversee all daily household operations, manage and motivate a team, and ensure the residence remains immaculate, efficient, and intuitively run at all times.
Key responsibilities
* Lead, support, and manage the household team, including rotas, training, and performance
* Maintain exceptional service standards and ensure seamless daily operations
* Oversee the overall presentation, maintenance, and functionality of the residence
* Anticipate the Principals’ needs with discretion and proactive problem-solving
* Liaise confidently with contractors, suppliers, and the family office
* Carry out minor household maintenance tasks when required
* Uphold confidentiality and a highly professional service ethos at all times
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
* Extensive UHNW or VVIP private household experience
* Proven team management and operational leadership in a large, fully staffed home
* A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication skills
* At least 5 years of practical maintenance experience within private households or commercial settings
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience working in both private residential and commercial environments
* Current DBS check or willing to do one
* Full eligibility to work in the UK
Schedule
* Monday to Friday: 9am – 6pm
* Weekend availability occasionally required — flexibility essential
