🕒 Monday to Friday (early Friday finish) | 40.5 hrs/week

A large, well-established manufacturing company in Banbridge is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their growing Quality Control team. This is a key role within a business known for delivering complex, high-specification products across the UK and Europe.
As a Quality Engineer, you'll be responsible for overseeing calibration schedules, managing nonconformities, and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
🔍 What You'll Be Doing:
1. Manage and maintain calibration schedules to ensure compliance and traceability
2. Lead investigations into internal and external nonconformities, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
4. Maintain accurate documentation, including calibration records and investigation reports
5. Support quality training and promote a strong quality-focused culture across the site
6. Prepare and present reports on key quality metrics to senior management
7. Ensure compliance with internal management systems and relevant industry standards
✅ What We're Looking For:
8. Previous experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment
9. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
10. Familiarity with calibration processes and nonconformity investigations
11. Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc.)
12. Exposure to quality methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
13. Experience working with quality management systems (QMS)
14. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments
15. ISO Lead Auditor certification is highly desirable
Qualifications:
16. Degree in Quality, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
