What you receive for joining us: We’re looking to offer a salary of £37,000 to £40,000, plus overtime and door-to-door travel for this role. In addition, we offer a company vehicle (with personal use), phone, tablet, company pension, paid expenses and accommodation when working away. This is a 40-hour per week, field-based regional role with frequent travel and occasional attendance at our Nottingham Head Office. Any required training will be provided for the right candidate. Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing: • You will provide servicing, maintenance, remedial and installation works across fire detection systems, emergency lighting, portable fire extinguishers, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems • Ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service by understanding customer requirements, communicating clearly, and reacting efficiently • Providing customers with system training and demonstrations, educating on the causes and implications of false alarms • Working proactively and safely on your own or as part of a team, adhering to health and safety requirements, British Standards, and participating in the out-of-hours call out rota Can you show experience in some of these areas: • Minimum 2 years’ experience within the fire and security industry, with knowledge of systems and manufacturers • GCSEs in English and Maths as a minimum, a full UK driving licence, and willingness to travel with occasional time away from home • Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to delivering high standards • Desirable experience and qualifications including emergency lighting and extinguisher maintenance, FIA modules, IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness and Working at Height certifications Do you see yourself reflected in the description above?
