We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll in accordance with UK legislation, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Youll play a key role in keeping our payroll, attendance, and employee records accurate and up to date, working closely with site and office staff.
What You'll Be Doing:
Payroll Support and Administration
1. Accurately process monthly, weekly or fortnightly payroll for all UK employees
2. Maintain employee records including starters, leavers, and contract changes
3. Calculate and process statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.)
4. Ensure correct application of PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and other deductions
5. Process payroll adjustments such as bonuses, overtime, and expenses
6. Liaise with HMRC regarding RTI submissions, P45s, P60s, and tax code changes
7. Support the implementation and maintenance of auto-enrolment pension schemes
8. Handle payroll queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
