Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Consultant Neurologist to join our existing team of Consultants and Specialist Nurses to support the Neurology service provided across the East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (ESHT). This post represents an addition to enhance the Neurology Services across ESHT and in particular help meet the rising demand for neurology clinic appointments. This post is full-time (10PA) and predominantly Outpatient based. We will encourage the successful applicant to develop a specialist interest to expand or complement the existing service. Mentoring and development opportunities will be available to recently qualified applicants in the fields represented by our existing senior consultants, but we would also welcome the addition of new specialist interests to complement the existing services.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities as part of the neurology service include supporting the delivery of outpatient neurology clinics and contributing to service improvement across the Trust. The role is an addition to the current team to help meet rising demand for neurology appointments and to develop specialist interests in line with service needs.
Qualifications and requirements
* Applicants are required to hold a CCT in Neurology or be within six months of accreditation by the interview date.
* Full-time availability (10 Programmed Activities, PA) or equivalent arrangements considered (as applicable).
