An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Associate Solicitor (NQ – 4 years PQE) to join a highly regarded Personal Injury team in Leeds. This position offers exposure to complex, high-value cases involving catastrophic injuries, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, and amputation claims.

The successful candidate will work closely with leading Partners on life-changing cases, gaining invaluable hands-on experience, while also developing the confidence to manage their own caseload as appropriate.
This is a role that combines first-class technical legal work with the chance to make a genuine impact on the lives of seriously injured clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting senior lawyers on high-value catastrophic injury claims.
* Running your own caseload of personal injury matters (with appropriate supervision).
* Drafting witness statements, pleadings, and legal documents.
* Instructing experts and Counsel.
* Managing disclosure, preparing trial bundles, and conducting litigation proceedings.
* Advising clients and their families with empathy and clarity throughout the claims process.
* Attending interim hearings and engaging with ADR where required.
* Supervising and delegating work to paralegals and trainees.
* Maintaining accurate time recording, billing, and financial performance.
* Actively contributing to business development, marketing initiatives, and client relationship management.
What We’re Looking For
* A qualified Solicitor (NQ – 4 years PQE) with a strong grounding in litigation.
* Experience in serious or catastrophic personal injury is highly desirable.
* Excellent technical skills and a solid understanding of relevant procedural and evidential issues.
* A strong academic background with sound clinical knowledge relating to catastrophic injury claims.
