We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Quality System Monitor to join our technical team in Willand, Devon. This post is working Days The hours of work and shift patterns available are: Monday to Saturday, on a 3 week rotating pattern 5am to 15.15pm. For example - Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Week 2 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Week 3 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The rate of pay is: £12.56 ph Main Responsibilities: As a Quality System Monitor in our technical department your key responsibilities will be: Monitor the Food Safety and Quality Management Systems across the factory to ensure continuous operational and technical integrity. Identify and report any areas of non-conformity, ensuring affected food products are quarantined appropriately and only released once compliance is confirmed. Conduct label and traceability verification checks to ensure accuracy and full product compliance with legal and customer standards. Monitor and record product temperatures as part of routine quality assurance procedures. Verify scales and weights to maintain consistency with both regulatory standards and customer specifications. Perform regular metal detection verification to uphold product safety and prevent contamination. Carry out quality control checks to ensure finished products meet both customer requirements and internal quality benchmarks. Provide support for additional verification and compliance activities across all stages of production and packaging, as required.
